The latest gossip on Rock, Pop, Alternative & Punk music is right here! Music Talk is about the latest info on upcoming albums, EPs, and singles. We will discuss individual bands some times as well as talk about the charts like Billboard Hot 100 and iTunes charts. I originally said that it would air (network?) every day. Unfortunatly, I could not handle this. I am now airing it every Thursday. With conflicting schedules I might miss a day, should this happen I will make up for it ASAP. Also, I have a very limited monthly Bandwith Quota, (7.5 MB!) and because Music Talk has become so successful, I have gone over the limitation. To keep Music Talk on the air, I need donations. You can donate via PayPal by going to: http://www.musictalk.podomatic.com/ Thank you very much for your support.

The Final Word

        Wow guys--

I honestly have no clue where to start. Its been so long that it took me several days to decide whether or not this was actually worth doing. In case you haven't noticed, the demise of Music Talk came close to two years ago, when, as much as I would have loved to, I was unable to continue the podcast due to simply not having any time to. Several months after the last 'real' episode, I recorded an announcement saying that Music Talk was officially cancelled, but I couldn't even find the time to upload that.

Then came a few days ago. I was thinking a lot about it, and how much I would love to be able to maintain a podcast again. I am not sure that I will be able to, heading back into school and I want you to know that I am not making any promises or anything, but it's a cool "what if" that maybe, just maybe, might turn into something. I guess that the inspiration for this came when, on Tuesday, I logged into my Podomatic account, and was absolutely shocked to discover that I was still pulling 5-10 downloads a day. Who knows, maybe in a few months I will have a whole new podcast to do.

Now I am sure, out of any of you who are still subscribers, how many of you will care-- my guess is not too many. But, if anyone, who used to listen to the show, could think of suggestions on what to do, that would be more interesting than reading crappy headlines off of rollingstone.com and mtv.com, and then reading the iTunes and Billboard charts, I would be most grateful if you could post them under the comments section on this episode (See, I haven't changed-- still begging for comments). I think another music podcast is most likely, but I want something different and interesting to do, there being some 2,000,000ish music podcasts out there.

So, I just felt like I missed podcasting, and thats why I posted this. As if I needed to say this, Music Talk is no more. I'll keep the episodes up for now, and the forums will remain, despite the fact that they are a total ghost-town (I guess they always were). But remember, I don't think this is the end for me
in the podcasting world. I'll be back, even if I have to wait a few more years.

Thats pretty much it guys, thanks for reading.

                                                -Luc

P.S.-- There's nothing in the audio file I posted :P
